SHORT RIDE OR LONG RIDE? WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE?
Our Short Rides are designed for any rider wanting to enjoy a leisurely and scenic ride with friends or family. The longer ride is for the more adventurous type and not for children less than 12 years of age. Our Half Day Rides are a thrilling treat for intermediate riders over age 12. Explore Canaan Valley area on horseback for about 4 hours. This ride takes you through a variety of scenic areas, allowing you an opportunity to really enjoy the valley. This ride leaves at 9:30am summer and 10am Spring and Fall. Ride only available May 1 - November 1 and is not available if ground conditions are too wet. Advance reservations required.
