Participants of all ages may find up to 11 ounces of gemstones, fossils and arrowheads by "panning in" "our fabulous mining sluice just like the miners of yesteryear. Running water, dirt, cool rock treasures . . . . . who wouldn't enjoy it?! Just about every youngster in America has a rock collection at one time or the other. Your findings will make the perfect start for your collection today!

HOW IT'S DONE

Purchase a bag of prepackaged mining "rough" at our gift shop. Your findings will depend on the kind of bag you purchase. Some bags contain gemstones only, and some contain arrowheads, fossils and more! Prices of mining "rough" are as follows:

$5.00 for a 2 lb. bag of mining rough containing gemstones
$7.00 for a 3 lb. bag of mining rough containing gemstones and guaranteed to contain a crystal point and arrowhead
$8.00 for a 4 lb. bag of mining rough containing fossils and shark teeth
$9.00 for a 4 lb. bag of mining rough containing gemstones and guaranteed to contain emeralds and rubies, plus a crystal point and arrowhead

Simply pour your dirt mixture into the screened bottom box provided and shake or swirl gently in the water of our mining sluice. Gradually the dirt will rinse away and the gemstones, fossils or arrowheads with remain. Keep whatever you find.
